The Mazatlan Lighthouse is a monument considered heritage of the city of Mazatlan and a reference of Sinaloa worldwide.
It is located at the highest point of the Crestón hill, at the southern end of the city and has a height of 157 meters above sea level, making it one of the tallest lighthouses in the world.
This tourist site was built during the time of Porfirio Díaz, when Crestón was considered an island and today it is of great help to illuminate the way home for various maritime vessels.
